To the Parents of Current and Potential Students of Heritage Academy: It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2010-2011 academic year. Having assumed the leadership role at Heritage Academy, I would like to take a brief opportunity to introduce myself. My professional career in education began 28 years ago following a long served position in managing a private security firm. I have served as both a teacher in the classroom and an administrator in a variety of settings and treasure all of the experiences and opportunities I have in working with students. In raising three children of my own, I have experienced the challenge in finding the best opportunity for education. Now I watch as my own children face the very same educational concerns for their children, my grandchildren. I understand the importance of maintaining a consistent, disciplined and safe academic environment that allows students to grow, both socially and intellectually. I am very pleased with the level of dedication, experience and professionalism of the 2010-2011 teaching staff and faculty. As a team, it is our top priority to promote the success of our students and help your child reach his or her fullest potential in education. We look forward to your support in ensuring our students arrive on time and understand the school and classroom rules. Please know that we are available to discuss any educational concerns or problems that you may face as a parent throughout the year.
