Heritage Academy, formerly known as Academies of Excellence is a K-12 charter school in Bunnell, Florida. Bunnell is located in Flagler County on the East Coast. This educational center provides hands on learning opportunities by some of the finest and most talented teachers in the area. Our students participate in many after school activities including sports and clubs. A fine arts center will be added this year which will include drawing, painting and drama. We offer an alternative to the traditional public school settings and pay individual attention to each child's unique learning style. The mission of Heritage Academy is threefold: 1. To create a research-based, supportive learning environment that meets the academic and social skills needs of all students; 2. To provide a strong academic program that is technologically rich, educationally sound, and individually guided which focuses on Math Science, and Engineering; and 3. To instill in students strong values that encourage positive community involvement and a commitment to lifelong learning.
